I think if the game had a few more months on the drawing table it would have been a completely better game. Excellent GameI actually happened unto this game because I love RPG's I bought the first version but it was a big failure unfortunately. It was full of bugs and missing features. I decided to stick around and wait for the patches because something attracted me to it although I couldn't put my finger on it. Was it the cartoonish graphics, the action like combat style mixed with cartoon elements, the fantasy effects, the story. I don't know but I kept going until the last patch. Then I heard about the collector's edition which is actually the game that it was supposed to be. I tried hard to get it in South Africa but was unable to get it.

Luckily through Ebay I was able to get it at a decent price. I am very glad I did this is one of the best games I have ever played. It has a strange enchantment that a lot of games lack. Too hard to be fun!I made it maybe half way through the game until the House of Lords quest and almost quit. It has become more work than play and that with options on easiest and using a cheat, though I cannot verify the cheats work!

This is too tough to get through the detailed linear tasks just perfectly as this one requires. One cannot even back-track in all places to play around as they lock out some of the past. It would be better if easier and less enemies like the setup allows, though it can be a bit addicting if persistant. I would recommend the game if the price was right.
